WHAT TO WEAR TO ALL OF YOUR THANKSGIVING CELEBRATIONS.

Thanksgiving is finally around the corner, and we know that choosing the right outfit for the occasion can lead to a bit of stress. With the varying dress codes for family dinners, friendsgivings, and all other celebrations in between. One thing is for certain, when it comes to a Thanksgiving look, comfort is key.

No matter what kind of attire your Thanksgiving calls for, we’ve got you covered. From formal to casual, to classic, even if you’re looking to make a bold statement; we have gathered the inspiration for you to look your best!

1. Smart casual

It's never a bad thing if you arrive overdressed. There are plenty of options to have a solid sophisticated look. Throw on a blazer and topcoat with a nice sweater underneath, keeping it simple and easy but still high-class. To keep your outfit relaxed, just add a nice pair of dark wash jeans and a pair of loafers, plimsoll sneakers, or Chelsea boots. If you'd like to add some extra flair, you could add a scarf with a turtleneck. After all, it is fall and layers are your best friend this time of year!

2. Laid Back Savant

This is not just any night at home, you don’t want to be arriving in sweats. We know you’d like to keep it casual and comfy, but still looking brilliant. Think about using a plaid or Aztec print overshirt as a subtle statement piece, paired with a sweater/button-down shirt/turtleneck. Because your overshirt is dynamic, you’re going to want to keep your underlayers simple by using solid colors. For footwear, we suggest a nice pair of brown or black boots or even your favorite pair of sneakers. To add some edge to your look, simply add a beanie or ball cap.

3. The Bold Look

If you are someone who likes to steal the show and be a conversation starter, bold is the way to go! Picking a bold jacket, like a shearling, biker, varsity or any style of leather jacket will do. Whether it’s a large collar, metal ornaments, texture or a bright color; a jacket with these features are always guaranteed to grab compliments.These styles of jackets are typically on the heavier side so a t-shirt/crew neck sweater or hoodie, could be great options depending on how chilly the temperatures are. For your footwear, a solid pair of boots or nice nonathletic sneakers will look incredible.

4. Gone Khaki

Maybe you'd like to stay on the safer side, but a classic look will never do you dirty. Trade in your jeans for a pair of tailored khaki pants. Or, if you’d like to add some texture, choose well-fitting corduroy pants. Layer your chosen pants with a quilted vest or sweater. To keep things interesting, consider an eye-catching sweater filled with print or color. If you'd like to further elevate your look, you could even add a fedora. You can’t go wrong with footwear here: simple boots to athletic sneakers, such as Air Jordan 1's or our favorite Nike Blazers. We’ve kept the look simple so any shoe is fair game.

4. Bonus tip: what not to wear

This is Thanksgiving, so remember to be festive. Be sure to enjoy time with all your family & friends. This is one day of the year we all overindulge so be sure to avoid tight-fitting clothing.

You’ll also probably want to stay away from white or light-colored pants to avoid a spilling blunder, ruining your outfit and any potential photo ops later in the night. Lastly, as tempting as it may be, we strongly advise staying away from sweats!

Although this is Thanksgiving and comfort is key, you may want to avoid the 'just another night at home lounging on the couch' look.
